REIT Shares

Last Updated: January 5, 2024

The following is a list of Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) stocks available in PSE that are mandated by law to pay at least 90% of their earnings to their investors. I update the dividend yields every week.

Stock Gross Dividend Yield (pa) Payout Frequency
AREIT *7.12% Quarterly
DDMPR 8.42% Quarterly
FILRT 10.00% Quarterly
MREIT 7.74% Quarterly
RCR 7.80% Quarterly
CREIT 7.84% Quarterly
VREIT 9.36% Quarterly
PREIT 9.21% Quarterly

REITs are another dividend-paying investment class that is similar to preferred shares with the exception that investors can accumulate as many shares as they want, hold them as long as they want, have higher chances of long-term growth and capital appreciation, and does not have a fixed-rate dividend. Similar to common dividend-paying stocks, the dividend earnings of REIT are volatile because it is dependent on the performance of the business. REITs dividend performance, however, are more predictable and stable because real estate businesses such as rentals have long contract dates and rental escalation rates.

* Estimated dividend yield of a REIT with pending asset infusion that would increase the dividend income.
